Hole In My Ceiling

from Movements: Years In The Making by From The Valley

/

lyrics

I sit and stare up at the hole in my ceiling.
It's white.
It's bare.
It swells and drips all around.
I start to think of where I was this time last year.

Oh god, my friends.
I think I've finally settled in.
From time to time I think of my experience between lives.

I would touch you.
I'd pack my bags and leave this town.
But I realize that life is just a past dream.
So I sit down and think of the hole in my ceiling.

I think of you every single day.
We walked.
We talked.
I carried you by the river.
This age of mine is beginning to ware on my self.
