Give it some time to set in. These floors still creek with aching bones. I was so young. I didn't see the agony. The malcontent It was over when the third had passed. Everyone's gotta blame someone. He shut us out. Slammed the door in our face. He doesn't come around this tainted place. I wish to God, if such a thing exists. What we could have done to keep the pieces fit. But just as well. All things must end. The old mentalities. They have to fade.

And I have never been good at letting anybody in, or waiting for you to come around. Open eyes wide, and see what I can see. You're the only one who ever meant anything to me. Follow your dreams Dean. Follow your dreams. Open eyes wide, and see what I can see. You're the only one who ever meant anything to me.

She steps lightly in the morning. Puts the coffee on, and opens up the window. Illuminates the wall with pictures of her sister. May she rest in piece. Brother's living at his mother's house, and he's blaming everyone for his misfortune, and it's been this way since they put your body in the ground. Mother's crying in her daughter's bedroom, and father's fighting with his devastation. When he fell down, he was paralyzed. Widow's weeping in the neighborhood, where she met her lover, and he promised her, "Baby, I will always take care of you." Dear Roseanna, I hope you're looking down on us, with your father by your side, and he's disappointed with the way things have been since you both have gone. And dear mothers, I hope you're keeping strong, and I know you're praying to your God above, but the Holy Ghost hasn't been here since I was young. And I am over here. Way across the country. And I'm smoking cigarettes just to kill the time, and I keep my words and feelings behind my teeth. And I hope that we all can look back to a time before we all fell into this great divide, and I can wake up right as rain. Holy Ghost, where are you now?
